district description

Protaras Holiday Villa 8 is located in a beach complex next to the picturesque beach of Malama. Within 5 minutes walk you can be on a quiet beach with white sand and crystal clear blue water, while about 1 km in the opposite direction you will find the famous beach of firefighters, and just along the way you can visit some of the best restaurants and bars in the Kapparis area, which remain open throughout the year and are very popular with locals.

Protaras is only 3 km from the hotel, there you can find many beautiful beaches and the most famous Fig Tree Bay with lots of water sports (water bikes, diving, canoeing and para-sailing, etc.). Protaras also offers many good local and international restaurants and a thriving nightlife in the summer months.

There is also a water park and an aquarium that are worth a visit. The largest water park in Europe can only be found outside Ayia Napa, which is only 10 km from the hotel. Closer to the villa, in the suburb of Kapparis, and a little further down, there are small towns of Ayia Triada / Pernera, with its own “strip of restaurants (some good local) that are in less than three minutes drive. There you will also find the Golden Coast Fishing Harbor with a romantic bay of Sirina or a beach for children Kalamies Beach.

There is a new quay track that was built to tie Protaras with Pernera. Walk on a beautiful and level road, which makes it very convenient for walking with a stroller or wheelchair. Along the path you can find some stunning little “secret” restaurants / cafes where you can stay for breakfast / coffee on your morning walk, or for a snack / dinner in the evening. This is the perfect place to just sit, one meter from the sea and enjoy the sunset.

In the nearby beach of Malama Beach you can also find water sports and within just 2 minutes walk from the villa you will find a kiosk, mini supermarket, typical English pubs, Captain Karas Restaurant and a little further down the road Onasis Fish Restaurant, Mouzoura Beach Fish restaurant, as well as one of the most popular hot spots for children of all ages … the famous Sirin Bay.
